Hi Everyone,
Today I hope you like the piece I am showing you. It is titled “Renenet” ( aka Renenutet). She is an Egyptian Goddess whose stare can destroy enemies! The Egyptians themselves had no fear of her for she offered them nourishment and protection.
I love the basic form and flowing lines of this piece. Although the painting looks easy to create, there were quite a few layers needed to achieve the background of stars and planets. The hieroglyphics are simply the name “Renenet”.
The bright colours always cheer me up!
