Moonstuck

Hi, today I’m introducing  the “Faery Goddess ”

The piece itself was really a labour of love because of all the detail involved. The design is taken from a Linda Ravenscroft watercolour, and the slate inspired by living in the magical place of  Co. Galway.

To complete the work, I had to learn some new techniques, how to engrave the delicate features of her face and dress. Apologies that it is not clearly apparent in the photo. The photograph doesn’t really compliment it as it should. I find photographing slate mirrors very difficult.

Still, if you click on the picture you can see the detail more clearly . She is beautiful (at least my Aunt Fidelma thinks so, I gave it to her as a gift 🙂 )

Hoping your having a good day, I am myself, thank God!
