Hi,
I am a big fan of boxing and a good amateur during my teenage years. My three favorite champions are Mohammad Ali, Roberto Duran & Sugar Ray Leonard.
Today’s piece is called “Hands of Stone” after Roberto Duran, his nickname being “Hands of Stone”. I know he was a controversial character but one of his most famous quotes “I would rather be a hammer than a nail” – I think is brilliant.
There is a movie coming out soon of his life story & I am looking forward to seeing it.
I can tell you that to carve these slates I needed “Hands of Stone” myself !
