Glad you are in good form! Having a sore day myself so my heads not really in the game…
I am sore,in-fact agony here, but I just push myself to live and laugh and just be, you know. I decided the pain wasn’t winning no more..Sounds easy, and is with practice.. Hope you feel better soon..
Thanks, I’m determined not to let it win!
Determination helps. I awoke this morning IN AGONY about an hour ago (07:30am as I type here) But I made a cup of tea, but some music on, put a song up on a blog and sat and listening to some music and was happy. The pain is my friend, it will be with me for life. So I guess that is the only way we can take pain and deal with it, use it as a means to live. There is nothing else we can do…
Well said..
Shaun
Hi,sorry for the delay in replying, the last week I haven’t done anything. It was “that time again”.The time for my meds to be reviewed.Turns out(through some misunderstanding with my G.P)that I was on the wrong dosage of Morphine. He doubled my dosage without discussing it with me,we had talked about increasing the amount but definitely not doubling.Basically,I was going through withdrawals as well as dealing with the Fibro, head was fried.I felt like I was on another planet.Bad place ! the only thing that kept me going was the story that I had read of when the Dalai Lama was young,he suffered with stomach ulcers, people thought because he was the Dalai Lama that he would have some miracli cure,he openly admits that he was feeling rather sorry for himself & it was only when he began to open his mind to the suffering of all the people in the World & think of them that his own pain eased up a lot.I kept that thought in my head & slowly began to feel better. So,for me I guess it’s a spiritual journey.Hope your pain ain’t so bad today. 🙂
My pain is crap every day, never changes.
And Morphine, I take that when I have to, you no other options? You don’t want stuck on that. You will just take more and more till you sleeping all the time..
Just be careful
We can compare notes I hope…
Good idea – definitely 🙂
Yeah… 🙂
Thanks, Paul. That is so thoughtful of you! Hope you have a terrific day!
🙂

Thank you for the nomination. You have been an inspiration to me by your ‘likes’ and kind comments, and your marvelous artwork. 😀
Thank you, likewise!

I have been gaming for 35 yrs approx & love the presentation & style of your stuff !.Plus the info & knowledge on gaming you have is brilliant.I have got into the habit of looking at your blog before I buy a game & believe other gamers should too,so you deserve your nomination !!. 🙂
I’ve no idea how is it that this never showed on my side…arg! Been happening for a while >_<!
Thanks for the really kind words, I do my best on my environment (gaming) yet I still have a lot to learn, which is the most interesting part of it all 🙂 Fell really honored to hear these words from you!
Congrats!
You have nice followers and you are a very nice follower too. Thank you for following my blog. It makes me happy to see your little gravatar – I don’t know why but it always makes me smile!
Elephant
Thank you elephant 🙂
Had left a comment to this on my site, assuming it would connect with this — so obviously still learning some of the tricks of wordpress. Very honored not only by the nomination, but also the description of me — very cool. Hope you are hanging in there, and agree with Shaun — need to find you an alternative to the morphine. So far no meds here, just an herbal sleeping pill, but from my sports and dancing, I’m used to putting up with pain more than others.
Hadn’t seen you posting in a while, so trying to send more good karma your way. namaste. Hang in there.
Thanks you deserve every word of it 🙂 I am sorry that I have been off line for a while. You were right about the morphine. It was the last resort but a truly unpleasant experience. Thanks for all the good karma – definitely through the worst of it now 🙂
so glad to hear you are (or were) on the mend, and to see you back online! I disappeared for a while myself, trying to sort things out. Hoping to get back to the blog, but probably tomorrow — already up too late.
HI, am only just reorganised now myself – I’ll be over to your page to see!
I came over to say hello and check on you. I hope things are going well and you are just painting. I really do not want to hear you are having a pain flare. Regardless, i have missed seeing your work. Hope you will be back soon.
Thank you, things were tough going for a while but thankfully much improved. Have managed to keep painting so new post coming soon!

Shaun
Thank you so much Shaun, I have been off line for a while and am just getting back to wordpress after a major flare. It’s been discovered I have a problem with a nerve that hasn’t healed after a tooth extraction 3 or 4 years back. And although being treated for this hasn’t taken away my fm it has decreased so much of the pain. So here I am back again and thank you once more 🙂
Hello Paul, you are a truly amazing person in so many ways. It’s a privilege to know you & to peruse your wonderful artwork ….more on that later…..Monica
Thank you, it means the world 🙂
Congratulation!!! And, thank you for “Liking” the post, “My Life In A Hole”. Streets Of Our World, on my photography blog http://www.throughharoldslens.com. On behalf of the Through Harold’s Lens Creative Team, my trusty sidekick Mr. SLR Nikon, his brother Mr. Pen Pal and myself, we truly appreciate your enjoyment. We hope you continue to join us on our journeys.
Best Regards,
Harold
Hi Harold,
Thank you, I have a bit of catching up to do – been trying to find my way with a newly acquired Samsung NX1100 – not the same as a Nikon I know but it has the pixels needed for decent prints of my work within budget 🙂
Look forward to following your posts once more
Just so you keep peeking through your lens and shooting. It’s not the camera. It’s the person behind the camera that makes it all happen.
Thanks for your good words of encouragement, I will do that 🙂
